Sarah Palin will be missing from action Sunday a.m.

Today, top McCain aide Rick Davis indicated the campaign isn't in any hurry to slot Palin for a Sunday show appearance -- and will do so only if he and other strategists determine it serves the ticket's purposes, not because some may view it as a required initiation for a major political player.

Appearing on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" show, Davis said, "I'd never commit to anything in the future. ... Our strategy is in our hands, not the media's. We're going to do what's in our best interests to try to win the election. If we think going on TV news shows are [sic] in our best interests, we'll do it. If we don't, we won't."

Do not ask a long-term Anglican to comment on an Episcopalian’s actions. *\;-)

Gov Palin or the RNC or the McCain/Palin campaign don’t owe the media any explanations as to what she is doing. Gov. Palin doesn’t need the media and they know it.

I want her and the republicans to string these rabid liberal msm talking heads out to the point they are foaming at the mouth. Then I want them to be very selective and use tactics to pit one against the other. There is gold here and we (conservatives) need to mine it.

I heard that since her son was shipping off to Iraq soon, she wanted to spend some time with him before he goes.

There needs to be wholesale firings in the MSM by the owners over the bias and outright partisanship. There is no sense of balance and fairness at all. They might as well be an official arm of the DNC.

Now that's change!. Take the message to the people, not the Washington press corp. BTW, anyone have a count of how many times Biden has appeared on the Sunday shows? Must be over 10,000 by now. He must hold the record.

Someone mentioned that Biden did not appear on the weekend after the Dems convention

Even now, bin biden's whereabouts are a mystery. Not clear yet if he's hiding or just that nobody cares.

She is in Church on Sunday Morning

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,
Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,
Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you
Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work,
To speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.
For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.
But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared,
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
Whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
That having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.
But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless.
Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition,
Knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned.

Good. Tell the MSM that they'll appear on their stations only after they ask Obama about Ayers, Rezco, Wright, etc.

I’m so happy the McCain camp is responding like it is. The longer they wait to have her give an interview the higher the viewship who will watch her hit it out of the park. Plus it just shows the arrogance of the press again and their irrelevance.

Like it or not, she will eventually have to get out there and show she can answer questions. Otherwise, at some point even average folk will see it as ducking.

Besides no one watches the Sunday interview shows.

That's not true. The newspaper and magazine writers watch the Sunday morning talk shows. They then spend the rest of Sunday writing hit pieces (on Republicans) or fluff pieces (on Democrats) which are published on Monday and Tuesday.

This decorated toilet paper is then read by the chattering class, who discuss it on television for the next four days. If it's really juicy they invite the hit / fluff author on tv, which was the reason the article was written to begin with.

By Friday they are running out of material and are picking apart stump speeches, hoping someone made a gaffe. If the chatterers are really lucky, the campaigns have issued 'statements' responding to the articles and that will give them something to chatter about until Sunday.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

You should have seen his face when I told him that Obama would be the worst thing that could happen to this country, he gave me this arrogant laugh as if I didn't know what I was talking about.

Morning Joe stinks. He sits there with some stuck up twit that poses the whole time while Joe bombs his own ‘party’.

Really lame.

Palin is a complete 10 megaton warhead, and needs to be brought out selectively when the damage is needed.

Right now, it’s not. McCain’s doing well on his own.

hussein’s having a real problem now.. McCain alone (After Palin) is strong enough now. When the polls start heading somewhat dem, they’ll bring her out.
