Global Warming is Junk Science !

But eating meat sold in supermarkets may be mistake. I used to be a big meat eater. I love big, thick, juicy BBQ steaks and still do.

Then I had a severe stroke that left me paralyzed and disabled. After a very long recovery and years of rehab, my son turned me on to eating raw, fresh veggies. I switched to eating a diet that is almost meat free and using only hormone free milk . . .

Now my BP is 120/70 and my resting heart rate is between 52 and 62. I get out and walk every day for about two hours. There is hope for everybody who wants to improve their life.

Last month I learned something from somebody I respect about the meat departments of most grocery stores. He works for a very large food store chain. He told me that about four years ago he discovered the chain had made new arrangements for disposing of old cardboard boxes. Trucks pick them up for free and haul them away.

Then he told me this outfit shreds the old boxes. Even the heavily wax covered produce boxes are throw into the shredder. The company sprays them with growth hormone and mixes them with other 'garbage food' products: This concoction is sold to ranchers who feed this toxic mishmash to cattle and dairy cows.

The Dept of Agriculture, Meat Inspectors and FDA close their eyes to what is going on.

There is a reason why Americans are so incredibly fat: Growth hormones fed to the animals we love to eat. Now you know why Japan, S. Korea and Europe are banning meat from the U.S. Now you know why they are so p@ssed off at our meat industry.

Don't take my word for it, do some research on your own. I still love good steaks. But I eat only the best prime, range fed beef. And I have cut back on my meat intake dramatically.

Cheers !

“There is hope for everybody who wants to improve their life.”

Or for everybody who has the leisure to get out and walk every day for about two hours, and the money to buy healthy foods.

The rest of us can just keep getting fatter and tireder.
