In a delicious stroke of cosmic justice, it seems that the left, not the earth, is in meltdown stage. The sacred pillars of liberal orthodoxy are in the process of losing their underpinnings and it is not a pretty sight.

Usually when someone is having a nervous breakdown it happens privately and without the neighbors knowing.
One day they are just gone, off to a place lined with rubber walls.
However, this is becoming a very public and humiliating nervous breakdown of the MSM and their liberal Kool-Aid drinkers.
I admit that I’m guilty of greatly enjoying the spectacle of these abhorrent people falling into a vast chasm of unrelenting psychosis.
And it took an established politician like John McCain to open the door for Sarah Palin. Usually the political newcomer rides the tide of cult following, starts a third party and steals votes from the Republicans, only to fade into obscurity.

Obama’s nomination goes a long way towards discrediting the racism canard. And Gov. Sarah Palin shows that the American dream is available without help from either government or the self-anointed elites. She shows that faith in God is more powerful than faith in man. She shows that sexism and racism are indeed constructs, but artificial constructs designed not by old white men, but by liberal utopians - designed to achieve money and power, not liberation.
The times, they are a changin, but not in the way the left envisioned. The rules are changing as we speak. Because the liberal elites have consistently shown they are incapable of adjusting their world-views to include conservatives, I predict this will be the death of them. I’m smiling.

Great article. I, too, am enjoying this. It will, however, be interesting to see how history writes this one, as well as how the left side changes. Perhaps the libertarians can become the new left?
Yeah, but as soon as Barack Hussein Obama loses...there will be cries of racism for the next 20 years. And the democrats will be to afraid to ever nominate a qualified black person to be President (at least for 20 years).
So right now it appears sexism and racism are dead, but one of them is going to surge as soon as the election is over. if by some corrupt means B. Hussein Obama wins...then that will mean sexism is alive and well as Hillary couldn’t win and neither could Palin (which the media will then claim that Palin was a very qualified person to be VP to bolster their claims of sexism).
How fascinating that a man most of FR couldn’t stand a few weeks ago has almost single-handedly destroyed the MSM and saved the Conservative movement in about a week with this VP pick.

This is indeed awesome to behold! First we get to witness the dissolution of the Soviet empire, then the slow-motion train wreck as Liberal movement becomes Bertha Rochester, the mad woman in the attic.
First we killed Communism, now we’re killing Marxism/Socialism.
It is very interesting to watch the same thing happening in old Europe. Almost all recent elections have favored the more conservative candidate. England is next. Reality always seems to intrude upon naive Utopian ideals.
