Media whores will say and DO anything to grab a few lines in the press, Jesse Ventura has ALWAYS been in search of the spotlight. Perhaps the steroids have rotted his brain, I can recall some VERY socialist ideas spewing forth from his very large mouth.

I live in Minnesota. I have yet to hear Jim Janos aka Jesse Ventura say one smart thing regarding politics or culture. He was better than not bad as a clown prince pro wrestling, first in the AWA, then in the WWF.
He isn't great at actually completing thoughts, but someone should ask him if two years as governor aren't enough to be VP, are four years enough to be President? On the other hand, that might be considered murder. If you ask Janos a question that makes him compare numbers, his head might explode.

In late October 2005, he went on the The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch and reiterated that he was leaving the U.S. due to, among other things, censorship. He has since moved to Baja California, Mexico.
