She was on the campaign trail bashing the health plan of her employer the hedge fund Avenue Capital. So I guess they gave her the boot for mouthing off.

My thought was that the Hedge Fund Business isn’t what you want on your “running for political office” resume, but for someone like her the Health Policy field sounds tailor made.
I just smelled politics.
Even her critique could’ve been political...oh, woe is me, I bravely spoke out against my company’s health plan and it cost me my job, and NOW I’m going to become an expert (by going to a liberal school to study), and THEN I’m going to get elected and fix health care for all of you poor victims out there in America.
Something like that...
