I saw the interview, he's not Muslim. this is a silly pursuit and it was a gaffe not some secret admission. Can we poke fun at him for tripping over his words instead of trying to decode them into something they weren't.

Why would he gaffe on this one? Sounds more like a freudian slip to me.

ah but it is fun and he isn’t being straight up about his life in Indonesia. I do agree we have plenty of reasons to not vote for him and attack him without worrying about whether he is a Muslim.

I agree. He was talking about supposed accusations from the McCain camp that he's a Muslim. Stephie compounded the problem by suggesting "Christian Faith" as a substitute, instead of "supposed Muslim Faith" or whatnot.

Obama was unable to provide Stephie with any actual examples of smears coming from the McCain camp, but I think he was trying to blame it all on surrogates like Sean Hannity (who he really has a bug up his butt about).

Why would you say he is not Muslim?

Is it because he says that he isn't?

I'm really interested with what you have to say.

I agree with you, it was just a gaffe...after all, he didn't have a teleprompter to tell him what to say. How can people expect him to speak intelligently without a teleprompter?

Now technically, he is an apostate and 1.4 billion muslims are honor bound to kill him, but that's entirely different than a real faith.

You do know that he said in his own words something to the affect that “if things get ugly between Muslims and the west he’s siding with the Muslims”?

Explain that away.

In the eyes of Islam, as son of a Muslim man, he was born a Muslim. His Muslim stepfather registered him as a Muslim in school in Indonesia and he spent time studying the Koran. Now he claims to have embraced the Christian faith, albeit a Marxist variant (Black Liberation Theology) so maybe he is an Apostate and has rejected Islam.

But then in a recent interview with People Magazine, his wife revealed that they do not give birthday presents or Christmas Gifts to their children. I thought that odd, I don't know any Christian families that don't give gifts, but I did discover that it is common practice for Muslims not to do so.

So you be the judge, it appears he embraces some Muslim culture. Denying your children Birthday or Christmas presents when you are earning millions seems a pretty significant act to me.

It’s a revelation. He’s a muslim. He specifically used the pronoun “my”. It’s significant and would be used in a deposition to cops... and there may be more madrassa terrorism thinking in this, under this tip of iceberg of an admission... notwithstanding Stephanopoulos knee jerk rescue.

I remember that fake preacher who kept telling me of how Christians do this and “they” do that, instead of saying “I” or “we” do this.

The brain’s logical and emotional thinking is tied to this.

There is a reason why Marines always use the third person when commenting on personal performance. It’s really part of the conditioning. Isamic Jihad brainwash imposes a separation of the us vs. them. “I am that I am” also implicates a creator’s competition with His creation, a part of His “I” but not quite whole of it.

You may be right but I have watched it more than once and is sure sounds like a Freudian slip to me. It is a strange way to speak if it is not a Freudian slip. To use the possessive my is to own what you are referring to, most people would not say,”my Muslim faith”, in the context of denying their being a Muslim. Also it is known that Obama has lied about his past and very little research is needed to conclude that, regardless of what the Reverend Wright may say, the Trinity United church is NOT a christian church by any stretch.
