Why the heck would anyone fry a pickle? Are they fried whole, or sliced?

It IS a good book. I’ve read most of it. Makes me proud to be Scots-Irish. We are in very good company.

And I wouldn’t give you a plug nickel for most “elites.”

In 1814 we took a little trip,
Along with Col. Jackson down the mighty Missisip,
We took a little bacon and we took a little beans,
And we caught the bloody British in the town of New Orleans...

Sliced. And it is heavenly (at least I remember it to be... I can’t have many fried foods anymore... I wanna cry every time I go by chips). But because in the south, everything (and maybe other areas...) and I mean everything is better fried. Fried Okra, fried squash, fried bacon, fried turkey, fried apple fritters, fried potatoes, fried chicken (my grandmother is amazing cook), and fried sweet potatoes, Fried green tomatoes (a good movie according to my parents. It’s why we visited the town it was filmed in so much), and many other combos that I haven’t had (I still want a fried recese cup). Sorry that was long... I miss fried foods.

How are they actually fried?

On a griddle like bacon, or in hot grease like potato chips?

Whoops. I was thinking England but those fingers were faster than the brain... then there’s always the first draft follies. You are correct.

Well . . . okay. But just see that it doesn't happen again! ;-)

Independence for England!
