Your average AoG member (if they had the power) would just as soon push the button and wipe us all out tomorrow, because they believe that they (the righteous ones) will go to heaven anyway, and the wicked (everybody else) will go to hell. Rev. Wright's stuff is from the "prophetic" tradition which can carry a lot of anger, but its definitely anchored in the real world. People have both feet on the ground and their experiences and hopes and dreams are in the reality of this world. Not so with the Assembly of God types.This is the type of mentality we are dealing with, so the CNN smears will probably be believed and disseminated by the left.
