Lipstick on a Pig
By Lynnie Gal
Sep 7th, 2008 at 1:31 pm EDT
It is appropriate that Palin refers to herself as a pitbull--an ugly, snarling, threatening animal. But we all know that the lipstick she talks about isn't on a pitbull. She is lipstick on a pig, the pig being the Republican party in general, John McBush in particular.
We've all heard the joke that Washington is Hollywood for ugly people. I get that. But we need to push back on the cynicism that McSame is pushing, knowing that signing on a sexy grandma will get white men to vote for him because they want to sleep with her. You know it's true!
Let's send out a steady stream of Democratic women on the news show circuit NOW, and capitalize on the fact that they can't send Palin out there because she KNOWS NOTHING. The repuklicans know that the hard questions the press will ask her are going to destroy her, and that's why they have to keep her locked in her dressing room All we will see are the sound bites from the solitary speech she gave that was written for her by a Bush speech writer, and the press will have to play them over and over and over ad nauceum until it gets drilled into the head of the common folk that she really is lipstick on a pig.

Great find!!!! Obama (if ever actually confronted by a servile lib media) will pretend he never saw nor heard of this post, but this proves the phrase was discussed by some in the Obamanation on Sunday, Sept. 7. There is no reason to doubt that Obama heard or saw such comments and it stuck in his mind or his handlers thought it would be a fun line of derision, “red meat” for the leftist masses, and they actually put it in his prepared remarks.

And get a look at that hag who is calling our girl Palin a pig.
Does she own a mirror.
I think it’s funny his staff is looking at left wing loons to get stump speech material. Did they think this would play well to people across the country?

By all means, keep posting, Lefties.

She was probably so proud when she heard that he used her line of attack on Palin.
To: KayEyeDoubleDee
Unbelievable. This is a new kind of politics. I cannot recall a candidate ever using attack this personal.
To: KayEyeDoubleDee
I wonder how long before they remove that from Obama’s site?

They tried the same with all the other scandals also, but this things have a way of getting press. It will be in a lot of papers tomorrow.
To: John Robie
True. I think it’s already on the front of the New York Post.
Rush and Sean will definitely talk about it.
To: snarkytart
This is gonna seriously hurt the Obama campaign. Irony is, I think he really is too thick to understand what he was saying. He was merely regurgitating what someone told him would be a cute line to throw out to his supporters.
The guy is just plain dumb - a man of presidential fiber with any political acumen would have said to his cronies - "are you kidding, I'm not saying that! Don't y'all see how that could be taken?". But instead dumbass throws out the derogatory line (and adds a old-man metaphor to boot) in his jive-turkey voice.

I hope it hurts him, because it was uncalled for. It was definitely meant as a personal insult, it was not about their agenda/issues.

Steve Doocy on Fox&Friends just said that the references (lipstick/pig) had been used on their program earlier this week, so 'they were in the talking points'.
Tuesday morning, two commentators fumbled the words -- lipstick, pig -- in to their commentaries on FoxNews. One of those was Bob Becktel.
Per another poster, the other was Julien Epstein.
Dick Morris just said on Fox&Friends, the usage was deliberate. [Morris treaded it as a single utterance. He apparently is unfamiliar with the other recent uses pointed out in this thread.]
It becomes more apparent that the use of
lipstick and
pig is coordinated and choreographed. It is part of this week's talking points.
We can conclude:
"Lipstick on a pig, I'm Barak Obama, and I approved this message."
