ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.Senate candidates Democrat Tom Udall and Republican Steve Pearce will face each other on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Oct. 12.
Udall spokeswoman Marissa Padilla says the joint appearance has been confirmed, but the format is still being discussed.
Padilla says she thinks the New Mexico candidates will appear for 30 minutes.
Udall and Pearce also will debate on Oct. 15 on KOB-TV, Oct. 18 on KRQE and Oct. 26 on KOAT. The AARP will co-sponsor the second debate and the Albuquerque Journal will co-sponsor the final debate.

Steve Pearce fights Democrat *Hoax* Drill bill
Representative Pearce who is running for the Senate points out that Democrat
energy bill would actually erect more barriers to drilling and illustrates the

Steve Pearce had been gaining in the polls, but then the NRSC decided to withdraw its TV buy. Pearce may have to use his own money to stay competitive now.
Sen. Allard always polled low.

Yes that is unfortunate I don’t understand what they are doing. They seem to not look at the internals of the races just at whether it is an easy pick or not. Right now money is flowing but they seem to lack a good strategy. Ensign has been trying but he needs to look at the big picture strategy. Where is the on the ground coordination for these races? Their is an opportunity being wasted here in NM, CO, VA, WV, LA, IL and down the line. What is wrong with the national party and its ability to coordinate with people on the local level. Obama is here campaigning with Warner but McCain/Palin had the Rhino Davis introducing them at the rally in Fairfax when it should’ve been Jim Gilmore or Eric Cantor or even Goodlatte or Goode. Isn’t there anyone who thinks big in the party today? Victory is not something that falls in your lap by playing safe.
Just clicked the link and contributed to the Pearce campaign. Thanks for the thread, Maelstorm.
Thanks! We will need to a lot of that till election day with the National Party seemingly lost in space on the Senate and House. They can’t see the forest for the trees. I thought liberals were the ones that the world owed them a victory. I’ve seen positive movement in the GOP with Ensign given money to the NRSC but they need to learn that money isn’t the issue it is ORGANIZATION.
Please put me on the list. Thanks.
Done.
That was Colorado. This is New Mexico.
