Carol Fowler is Don Fowler’s wife. Don Fowler is the looneytoon who said “the Hurricane (Gustav) will hit during the RNC convention...god is on our side”. Don Fowler was a big supporter of Hillary Clinton. In my humble opinion, this an example of Hillary sabotaging Obama’s campaign.

‘way to go, Fowler!!!

It’s certainly a comment that deserves playtime.. this is a comment that would make some on the fence reconsider voting for a Democrat.

So is Carol Fowler a South Carolinian or an import from the Leftist New York Times?

Just curious.

We need to remember that SC is under invasion by leftist liberals.

For example, the Greenvile News, based in Greenville County in the northwest part of the state, has a population of 750,000 citizens. Yet, the Greenville News, a subsidiary of the New York Times, wholely owned by new york leftists, has only a circulation of about 50,000 subscribers.

Now that tells me that the good citizens of SC aren’t paying much attention to the idiot scribblers in that newspaper. There’s a reason why - SC citizens can discern between frauds, A-holes and real thinking people.

There’s a female on the editorial page of the Greenville News who spews more leftist trash than a New York City garbage truck. Don’t recall her name but she led the charge on the county controlling trees on private property.

She looks like Heinreich Himmler’s brother but without the fancy hat or the Seig Heil salute.

SC Dem chief says sorry for Palin-abortion comment

COLUMBIA, S.C. --

South Carolina's Democratic Party chairwoman is apologizing for what she says was a clumsily made point when saying the Republican vice presidential nominee's top qualification seems to be not having had an abortion.

In an interview posted Wednesday on the political Web site Politico, Chairwoman Carol Fowler said Republican John McCain picked a running mate whose primary qualification seems to be that she hasn't had an abortion.

Fowler later said her statement was made to a reporter during an interview on single-issue voters.

Republican South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham criticized Fowler. He says it's an outrage to dismiss Palin's record and life with that kind of remark and that Democrats are melting down over how to fight the GOP vice presidential nominee.

I think the polls prove her WAY wrong, really. As far as the “white women” who were supposedly “Republican anyway”? That just makes me laugh. I don’t know ANY Republican women (white, black, purple or polka-dotted) who honestly supported Obama to begin with - much less are switching now just because of Palin. The TRUTH is that these are Independents, and DEMOCRATS who are waking up to the horror that is ZEROBAMA!

Her husband has quite a history too (June 2000):

“A former official of the Central Intelligence Agency has provided fresh evidence to support accusations that a top Democratic Party official sought to enlist the agency to aid a major donor to President Clinton’s 1996 re-election campaign.

In an unpublished manuscript, the former official — identified in Congressional investigations into Democratic fund-raising only as ‘’Bob from the C.I.A.’’ — describes a telephone conversation he said he had with Donald Fowler, then the chairman of the Democratic National Committee. Mr. Fowler was seeking the agency’s help for Roger Tamraz, a Lebanese-American entrepreneur who had contributed at least $300,000 to the Democratic Party. “

Not Having Abortion is Sarah Palin’s Only Qualification

Columbia, SC (LifeNews.com) — A leading Democratic Party activist is making waves across the country with an offensive remark about vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin. South Carolina Democratic Chairwoman Carol Fowler, whose husband formerly led the national party, said Palin’s only qualification is she didn’t have an abortion.

In the Alaska governor, Fowler said McCain had chosen a running mate “whose primary qualification seems to be that she hasn’t had an abortion.”

Earlier this year, Palin and her husband decided to keep their disabled baby Trig, who has Down syndrome, even though 90 percent of babies with the condition become victims of abortion.

“Among Democratic women and even among independent women, I don’t think it helped him,” Fowler added in the ABC News interview.

Told that her selection has encouraged white women to strongly support McCain, Fowler responded: “Just anecdotally, I believe that those white women are Republican women anyway.”

Anne Britton, the president of the American Federation of Republican Women, took exception to the remarks, in a statement sent to LifeNews.com.

She said she called the Democratic Party HQ in South Carolina and asked how many abortions Fowler believed one should have in order to meet the qualifications to be vice president.

“There is no place for this sort of bitter personal attack upon women in politics or politics period,” she said.

“South Carolina has been shamed by their representative; it is a disgusting thing to say,” Britton added. “To step to this level of campaigning is to state that the Democratic Party’s primary concern is guttering rhetoric rather that fixing the huge problems that face our country.”

She called on Democrats in South Carolina to remove Fowler from her position as state party chair.

Britton said Palin would never have been elected as the governor of Alaska or the president of the Alaska Conference of Mayors if the people and elected officials of her state didn’t feel she was qualified to do the job.

“...Why is the flag upside down in that “pro” palin image?...”

It was a take off on Obama’s tickets to his mega-speech. The final image has the flag properly displayed.

LOL. At least Obama covered himself with O’Rielly yesterday by saying he can not be responsible for the words of others. I guess he knows how many kooks cannot temper their true feelings. And they are coming out of the woodwork now.
