They still keep digging on the same issues. I hope the Palin camp doesn't provide "deference" to the press by defending.
They need to stay on the offense.

They need to be careful about what they wish for. From what I see, she will do just fine in either an interview or press conference. I expect to see her in Town Hall meetings taking questions from voters.
To: markomalley
The proper response from McCain/Palin would to just ignore the Slimes as if they didn't exist. NO ONE VOTING FOR THEM GIVES THE TINEST DAMN WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY OR THIER OPINION.
To: markomalley
The press has shown themselves unworthy with their blantant bias. No need to cater to them at this point. If I remember right, she said she is not going to Washington to garner their good opinion. She owes them nothing.

As soon as the NYT does the same examination of Obama’s friends and fellow travelers.
I doubt the man could get a low level security clearance with his associations.

First the MSM knew enough about her to trash her as an inexperienced local mayor. Now they discover they hardly knew her and want her to answer questions.
How come they knew her enough then to trash her?

Notice how the oh-so title correct NY Times cannot bring themselves to call her “Mrs. Palin” yet they call the junior Senator from NY. she of the sham marriage, “Mrs. Clinton.”

The running mates both failed to mention that it did not sell on eBay and that she unloaded it later to a businessman for a $600,000 loss.Has this unnamed joker ever bought a new car, and checked its value the next day?

It is well past time for Sarah Palin, Republican running mate, governor of Alaska and self-proclaimed reformer, to fill in for the voting public the gaping blanks about her record and qualifications to be vice president. So what part of PTA, Mayor of Wasilla, Governor of Alaska, and a 86% approval rating from her constituents do they not understand?

Those searching for Gov Palin keep PUSHING Barry out of the way.. Since Barry has little or no experience to display toward making the tinyist of decisions.. Search for Barry Obama should be their main TASK.. Palin has GLARING examples of executive decisions.. Especially going thru Juneau(Alaska) like a dose of Ex-lax.. First in her OWN party and then zeroing in on the democrat party..

OK. We concede Obama to the New York Times. Now, they can leave the rest of us the hell alone. Who cares what they think about the rest of this country?

Andrea: Let me say something about his message management. He didnt have reporters with him. He didnt have a press pool. He didnt do a press conference while he was on the ground either on Afghanistan or Iraq. What youre seeing is not reporters brought in, youre seeing selected pictures taken by the military, questioned by the military and what some would call fake interviews because theyre not interviews with a journalist so theres a real press issue here. Politically its smart as can be, but weve not seen a Presidential candidate do this in my recollection ever before.

Arrogance.
This comes from a newspaper renowned for its inaccuracies and losing tons of readers and piles of money.
They have earned the loathing they are getting.

She shouldn’t meet with any Newspaper, radio or TV station that took part in the ugly stories, rumors and lies that have been put out since she was named. McCain was great when he told Larry King to stuff it. This wouldn’t cost them one vote, these clowns are going to slam them right up to election day regardless of interviews.

It is well past time for Sarah Palin, Republican running mate, governor of Alaska and self-proclaimed reformer The New York Times, to fill in for the voting public subscribers the gaping blanks about her record and qualifications to be vice president truth about its far left agenda. The best way to do that would be exactly what the NYT campaign of John McCain is avoiding an honest news conference editorial.Dutifully corrected.

If only the
New York Times had subjected Obama to such tough, relentless questioning. They're hypocrites on the subject of political accountability!
