It does us no good to be polite and give them the benefit of the doubt when they are being a$$holes.
Rather we should point out that they are being a$$holes, make sure the voters know it, and move on. We’re not picking up the victim role. Rather, we are just pointing out their bad behavior.

Totally agree with you. I’m disappointed with some of our conservative friends giving Obama a pass and the “benefit of the doubt.” The way he delivered that line, the way the audience was eating it up, the way he juiced it up with them, and the fact that he COINCIDENTALLY came up with this right after Palin mentions lipstick, makes this very obvious. Not even close.
I hope people don’t start getting soft on Obama, now that McCain is starting to do well. We need to keep hitting Obama on everything. This should not even be a close election. Only a crushing defeat of Obama will do, to give McCain/Palin the clout to really change things from day one.

And she got upended by Obama.
THen it was Obama who was on his way to a coronation.’
And he got up ended by the McCain/Palin ticket.
I don’t know know what I’d do if I was a Democrat.
Maybe vote Republican.

Backing up from this littel incident, I can’t get over how rattled Obama is over Palin. He’s barely even dealing with McCain anymore!

Smart people are asking why Obama would do something so dumb. He couldnt have meant to say it, they argue, because he had to know it would exacerbate his biggest political problem - women voters abandoning the Democratic ticket.BINGO!
The answer? Barama couldnt help himself from saying it.

The big mistake is that Obama personally got involved. Surrogates should do the dirty work but, it is good for McCain that Obama panicked and jumped her.
To: suspects
Obama can deny it all he wants, and I was surprised even all the talking heads on Fox thought he "didn't mean it that way", but it's a no brainer and everybody knows it. The key thing is time and again Obama says stuff without thinking.

Hussein Obama can go on national television and deny that he was referring to Gov. Palin all he wants, and he can mock outrage at the McCain for their righteous indignation, but the ALLUSION is undeniable, and any American who heard it knows that was intentionally alluding to Gov. Palin.

This wasnt a political plot. It was a Barack Obama point of personal privilege. What were seeing is how Barack Obama performs under pressure. And so far, it isnt pretty.Great. The more the voters see of the Democrat ticket, the more they want to vote for McCain.

Good article! What a weasel - making attacks and then denying them. Is this the “new kind of politics” Obama promised?
Is there anyone with half a brain out there who is still supporting this guy? Don’t answer. I’m afraid I know already.

I thought it was niggardly of him.
If I can't say niggardly, he can't talk about lipstick. Fair's fair.
In fairness, when I heard his comment it instantly evoked Palin’s self-description as a pit bull with lipstick. The comment cudda been innocent, but it's like a White politician callin’ him niggardly. Not smart.

No question - as to 'who' was 'what'and refreshing to see someone in Media not being dismissive here. Palin WAS the pig. . .and the 'OLD fish in yesterday's newspaper (his old programs)WAS McCain.
Nice that, when in trouble, Obama can always count on a visit with Letterman, to get his revision out there quickly.
(Amazing how often we hear per his defense - he could not be that 'stupid'. Can only way, with so many enablers, 'why not'?) By and large; Obama will skate again; and with a trail of 'swiftboating' accusations covering his tracks.
