At the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Clergy Advisory Board 2006 meeting, a thought-provoking keynote address titled "How Is It with Your Soul?" was delivered by the Reverend Dr. Susan Brooks Thistlethwaite, president and professor of theology at Chicago Theological Seminary.

The body of the address validated all abortionists and abortion seekers as good Christians and those opposed to abortion as Unchristian. Additionally Thistlethwaite validated Islam as a religion compatible with and equal to, Christianity.
