She’s under the weather today. She just wasn’t proud enough of her country today to show up there.
She went to meet some ‘working women’ instead. I heard Barack is going to really start targeting this demographic by promising them government sponsored motel rooms.

I saw it too but I am not putting too much into it. He did an underhand toss of his flower onto the pile. Mccain, Cindy and Bloomberg all placed their flowers. I want to know what the lapel pins that officer put on John and Cindy. 2 different officers took their own lapel pins off and put them on John and Cindy. Obama had a lapel pin on while walking down the ramp and no extras on the walk back up.
Were John F. Kerry’s war medals attached to the flower?

I think it was an attempt to get his flower closer to the center of the memorial than John and Cindy’s flowers.
Can you describe it? Throwing a flower at a memorial isn’t a bad thing unless you flung it with an attitude.

It was nice of the democrats to send somebody to the ceremony on behalf of the 19 terrorists and their families.
seriously there’s nothing to this...sorry. It was just an underhand toss onto the pile of flowers already in place. He was the first one there and the others gently placed their flowers immediately after. The only ones who will have a problem with this are the ones who don’t like Obama already.
Like the sneaky "57 states" comment, claimed to be a verbal gaffe, this could be another secret signal to muslims.

I saw some of the families who were there this morning (some of the first to come down there) who were tossing flowers so they landed more to the center of the pond. I was surprised, but I guess some place them, some toss them. Don’t think we should make a big deal out of this. Maybe he saw others doing it and thought it was OK.

Do you know how happy I am to come to FReeRepublic each day? It’s like everyone here is so politically educated that we have a million inside jokes that regular voters wouldn’t understand. I just love that!
I cannot believe that Mr. Obama would deliberately go out of his way to dishonor the memorial at Ground O in front of the entire United States by "tossing" his flower(s) in some symbolic gesture of distaste. Until it is proven different, I prefer to believe that no one candidate for the President of the U.S. would intentionally show anything other than respect at the site of this horrible attack. I don't care what his politics are, nobody could be that crass and disrespectful. I'm not buying this at all. I myself will have to see it/hear it/to believe it.

Heck, everybody knows about that.
He was holding the flower in his right hand then switched it to his left hand, almost switched back to his right again before lightly tossing it with his left hand. Then he put his left hand in his pocket for a second, removed his hand and folded them by his lap and looked like he was praying.
That is the play by play and I really don’t see anything with this. The only obvious missing thing from the whole event was Michelle which I thought was odd. And I can’t understand the lapel thing.

He probably was “reaching out” to his base.
But his making his program in to a paper airplane and sailing it into the memorial was a bit much ;>
I saw him toss the rose, as soon as he got there it was tossed - kinda like he wanted to be rid of it. Then he had to stand there awkward and watch the others....
