In the 15th century the same bunch of rag heads controlled the trade routs to the east. This gave them wealth and power. We in the west had made many costly and unsuccessful attempts at military invasion and occupation during the Crusades.

I have to admit that I stopped reading from the earlier post before I got to this statement. I wish that I had read all that you wrote before I responded. That way I could have derided you for being ignorant about history as well. WE IN THE WEST DID NOT EXIST DURING THE CRUSADES.
