I didn't see the full ceremony but the one clip I saw was interesting. When Obama, McCain and Cindy went to add their roses to the thousand others Obama gaves his a nice little toss and then both McCain and Cindy gently placed theirs. Small thing, maybe picky because some need to be tossed but since the area in general was already covered there were no gaps to fill. Check it out and see if you sense the same flippancy by Obama.
Yes, that was a mistake. The 09/11 ceremonies are important. 09/11 is still a very big deal in people’s minds. Michelle made it rather clear how important she thought the memorial was. It’s just more proof that those two don’t really respect our nation and it’s citizens.
Her first comment that I became aware of was the one of her being proud of the U.S. for the first time in her life, because her husband was getting the Democrat nomination. Talk about a shallow empty vessel...
