I've misspoken before. I've misspoken before on national television. I've mixed up words, reversed orders, but I have never once misspoken concerning my faith and the God in whom I trust. Even in the most heated debate on Islam, never did I ever utter the words "my Muslim faith." Nor, even when talking about Buddhism, have I ever slipped up and referred to "my Buddhist faith." Ever. Why? Because my Christianity is so ingrained in me, so a part of who I am, that the thought of adhering to a false religion is so foreign, so blasphemous, that the words would never cross my lips.

And to think, people were concerned about Myth Romney being a Mormon.
I personally believe that Obama is not a muslim, although he has some 'splaining to do about his citizenship and his extended family in Africa. ("Family is off limits.")
However, he proclaims Christianity. He may be one, but certainly is a misguided one. I would rather point out how the beliefs of Obama, as taught by that great theologian Rev. Wright, are in direct conflict of many of the values taught in the Bible.
I find it also troubling that he easily recalled the 57 states (of Islam), rather than the 50 states of the USA.
In his own book he states, “The sweetest song in the whole world is the Islamic call to prayer at sunset”. My sweetest song starts, “OH Beautiful for Spacious Skies, for amber waves of grain”
He IS a sleeper.
Or it just may be that half of the electorate is sleeping...
Did you catch the interview a couple of months back by People Magazine with Michelle Obama?
In the interview she revealed that she and her husband did not by their children birthday presents or Christmas gifts. She was trying to make a point that the children were not spoilt brats, but her revelation struck me as bizarre. Who doesn’t buy their kids birthday presents? How could such wealthy people be so mean?
They have obviously been maintaining this practice for years. Their kids attend other kid’s birthday parties so they know that other kids are getting gifts, yet they don’t get any themselves. How would their parents explain this to them?
Guess what. Muslims don’t give birthday gifts.
No, not people. Just the Evangelicals.
He’s a boy who was abandoned by his parents and dumped off to be raised by others.
He’s still working through all of his psychological issues, but on a national stage. It’s embarrassing.
I think Biden fulfills the grandfatherly/father part that is missing.
I agree, it’s sad to watch an emotional 12 year old trying to behave like a mature adult and to do so in full view of the world. He’s just a scared little boy who is trying hard to measure up.
BTW, Senators are given sensitive government data when they start work, but are never given any background checks before they start!
Sheesh! As a government contractor for the Feds, they did all kinds of background checks on me, full hands and finger prints, original birth certificate, places of residence for last ten years, ev ery job I worked, etc..
