Well, I voted yes. Is the country safer??? Yes. Is the country completely safe??? No. And the absolute worst thing that could happen to destroy all the progress made towards being safer is an Obama presidency.

Actually this is a bogus question.
It’s like asking if we were safer after Dec 7 1941.
Things got far worse after we went to war because the enemy fought back.
al qaeda is still trying to nuke us so in a sense we are not safer because we are at war.
al qaeda is trying harder to attack and is using our retaliation to recruit more.
That’s the nature of war.
We are safer than if we had done nothing like clintoon did.

I voted NO Just because we are winning in Iraq and Afghanistan means we are safer here. Yes, we have been effective in taking the war to the enemy in Iraq but we as Americans have our heads in the sand here thanks to the Liberal Media. The enemy is certainly building up and we need to be vigilant. Electing Barak would lower our guard.
