Yesterday we accompanied Mom and Dad to a September 11th memorial ceremony at Ground Zero in New York City. Mom and Dad met with Senator Obama and they accompanied New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg to the temporary memorial that exists in the middle of the construction site where the towers once stood. It was a day of somber reflection and remembrance.

I noticed that, too, in the brief clips I watched online. "Are you doing okay, old man, and by the way, I'm taller than you." And I agree with you: If John McCain needed a hand with anything, I'd kick Barry Osama out of the way and do it myself :-).
Michelle Obama was off repeating her three Marxist talking points to carefully selected audiences in the Midwest ... I mean, she was, um, ah, helping, yeah, helping her kids with the first week of school!
They JUST started school last week in Chicago? The kids here in MA started the day after Labor Day.
The private school the Obamas’ daughters attend did start classes this past week. My oldest started college August 18, so I started the homeschool year at the same time. Public schools here started the following week, the 25th.
