Net Vs. Norm ("His nightly ritual is to read his email together with his wife, Cindy")
Forbes ^ | 5-29-00 | Richard Rapaport

In certain ways, McCain was a natural Web candidate. Chairman of the Senate Telecommunications Subcommittee and regarded as the U.S. Senate's savviest technologist, McCain is an inveterate devotee of email. His nightly ritual is to read his email together with his wife, Cindy. The injuries he incurred as a Vietnam POW make it painful for McCain to type. Instead, he dictates responses that his wife types on a laptop. "She's a whiz on the keyboard, and I'm so laborious," McCain admits.

...

Moving on to South Carolina, the McCain campaign tried to keep its Internet momentum going by hosting a "CyberExpress Fund Raiser." Supporters paid $100 each for 500 slots, enabling them to log into the McCain headquarters in Charleston. They were encouraged to watch via WebTV as the candidate fielded questions and Cindy McCain typed in his responses. Behind her, typing on his own laptop, Fose was monitoring the event while clearing out some of the several thousand emails he was receiving each day.

Whoa, if it wasn't Friday night this stuff would be breaking all over the world. O-ver's attack ad on McCain will go down in history alongside all the other colossal campaign ads, this one in the "exceedingly bad" column.

Great find!

Excuse my French, but I will use it here since it’s such a nasty language, but Obimbo would be a perfect a$$hole if it wasn’t for his hemorrhoids.

Thanks. But I didn’t find it, it was from a commenter at the justoneminute site. I am just sharing.

Yep, there was a press release not long ago that stated that because of his injuries sustained in the Hanoi Hilton he cannot really type on a keyboard.

So I say "Great Ad Obama, maybe you might want to learn how to use Google in the future to avoid mistakes like this. Now who is the computer illiterate? ".

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. So I’ll drink.

But this is friggin’ hilarious. Apparently Obama doesn’t know how to use google.

Wow. Great work frank.

Another one of the Obama kiddies' slander attempts explodes in their face.

I'm sure the MSM will dutifully ignore it, but we'll get the message out in spite of them.

The Obamanation is out of touch with the Internet function we call “google”. Ha! PRICELESS!!!

Did they pull the ad immediately? How will McCain’s camp respond?

That is the sound of Obama's campaign hitting the windshield of the StraightTalkExpress. This will kill Obama.

Just being curious, but trying to be thorough as well.

McCain has never minced words, nor “parsed” his answers.

When he was challenged by the b*tches on the View about being computer literate, what was his actual answer?

“I don’t use the computer” or

“No, I can’t use a computer” or

No, I don’t know how to use a computer (and never bother learning because I’m an old f*rt and can’t kearn new-fangled things..)”

Oopss...Obamao...stomping on the bag of dookie...again..

Amazing, you'd think just a nuanced fellow would figure it out about the 10th time he ran outside to stomp the bag of flaming poop.

Well, he's persistent.

"How will McCain’s camp respond?"

I think McCain should do nothing. My Senator Lamar Alaxander has already got an email from me. Alexander should hold a presser in the morning and call for Obama to apologize immediately.

John McCain's TV ad should show him and his wife side by side communication .... and then this great find ( Net vs Norm ) ("His nightly ritual is to read his email together with his wife, Cindy") ... then ?
At the end of the 30 second ad ... Obama ?? just Google it ..

“That is the sound of Obama’s campaign hitting the windshield of the StraightTalkExpress. This will kill Obama.”

Yep. And not only does it explain why he can’t use email, it adds: “In certain ways, McCain was a natural Web candidate. Chairman of the Senate Telecommunications Subcommittee and regarded as the U.S. Senate’s savviest technologist”

Sure, Al Gore may have invented the Internet, but McCain knows a few things as well.
