“”If Palin would have stated that she doesn’t believe the senator would compare her to a pig, it would have been a compassionate gesture. Folks love compassion.””
THIS IS THE REAL BUSH DOCTRINE!
It worked so well for him. /s

“40 percent say Barack Obama’s selection of Joe Biden was the smarter choice” ?????
I would like this 40 percent to tell me just how many new supporters did Obama get by selecting Biden. Zero. No worse than that - he got a Net Loss.
Case in point my Neighbor life long Democrats, took down their Obama yard sign just after the RNC and replaced with a Clinton/Gore 96 yard sign. I am thinking PUMAS

When 40 percent of the American people think the plagiarizer from Delaware is the better pick you know theres something wrong.
Especially when 99% of the American people STILL haven't ever heard of him.

BORe's writing above his pay grade. IMO.
If I were advising Palin, I would have had her defend Obama in the lipstick/pig incident.
Passable, but awkward. Less verbose and what he seems to intend is "If I were advising Palin, I would have advised her to defend...". Or, if he wants to keep it all in the past, "If I had been advising Palin, I would have etc."
If Palin would have stated that she doesn't believe the senator would compare her to a pig, it would have been a compassionate gesture.
But having gotten away with the blowhard "I would have had her defend...", he gets carried away and there's no rescuing this one. The first "would have" has to go. "If Palin had stated that she ..." works fine.

BOR’s advice is faulty. Good thing he doesn't run the campaign. It wasn't Palin’s place to defend Barry on his stupid comments.
It was Barry's moment and he failed to seize it.
After this became a media “event” he should have said, “It really wasn't what is being portrayed. Sorry if anyone mistook the meaning.”

When 40 percent of the American people think the plagiarizer from Delaware is the better pick you know theres something wrong. No joke. What a disappointing figure.

And even Joe knows he’s the default pick!

I thought this was a pretty good piece. The first half accurately assesses Sarah's popularity and the current political climate. It's called journalism. I rarely see it anymore.
If Palin would have stated that she doesn't believe the senator would compare her to a pig, it would have been a compassionate gesture.
I'm not disgusted by a friendly gesture. In just 2 months the McCain administration will begin the difficult task of assuring the 45% who didn't vote at all, and 40% of those who did vote for 0sama that All will be represented by McCain. A friendly gesture only says 0sama was too stupid to understand the implications of his words, and how they would logically be interpreted by women. 0sama is a amateur Chicago thug.

First of all, the tabloid press is all over Alaska looking for dirt on Palin, and you can bet they'll come up with something. No human being is perfect.I'm just waiting for it...you know it's coming...
