Obama has Bush-like traits
Cowboy Confessional ^ | 9/13/8 | Guy Smith

An enduring and accurate accusation of the Bush administration is a reluctance to admit to mistakes. Bush and/or his operative eventually confess when it becomes painfully obvious that they screwed one or more pooches.

Obama is made from the same unsavory cloth.

...

The problem is not so much that Obama did a dumb, dumb thing. We all do, and I for one have scars to prove many of my mistakes (and, no I cannot reveal the names of those mistakes but will leave it to say that I did have fun earning those particular scars). But Obama refused to admit he had made one.

...

Soon enough we’ll hear Obama tell Biden “You’re doing a heck of a job, Joey.”

...

The other instance Obama’s intellectual infidelity concerned some flags — and by “some” I mean several thousand — left behind as trash at the Democrat convention. ... One might think that the allegedly greener party would have such a recycling program in place.

...

When caught, Obama and his surrogates tried once again to dodge responsibility and make their lack of oversight a McCain issue.

...

Obama and the DNC’s desire to evade responsibility are too Bush-like for any man’s comfort.

He’s the polar opposite of Bush in that — Bush is terrible (I mean atrocious) in giving a speech (Obama is quite good though).

But when the President is fired up and speaking what he believes in, he’s pretty good.

Obama of course cannot articulate what he believes (so we have no idea if he is good in expressing it) and so you end up with uhh, mmm, and mumbles.

The mantra of the looney left is that President Bush won't dignify their false accusations with a PC mea culpa .

Perhaps you could explain the limp and flacid failures of this Administration regarding the other two legs of that ol' Axis of Evil (i.e., Iran and North Korea) these days?

George W Bush has been a truly great President, who for 8 years now, has been defined by the same liberal drive by media who is trying to define Sara Palin as a crazy, stupid, bitch.

History will hopefully understand his achievements more than even many Freepers give him credit for.

Lower taxes, utter defeat of Al Quaeda, Roberts, Alito, and the simple fact that he can be trusted to keep his trousers on in the oval office are just a few reasons he has been a far superior Prez.

I wouldn’t say that GW was (is) a great President. Ronald Reagan was a great President. Thomas Jefferson was a great President. Lincoln was a great President. They were trans formative. Thomas Jefferson was a civil libertarian who purchased the western half of the United States. Thats ideologically trans formative in that his ideas are in the Constitution and he added a huge chunk of geography to the US by defying the critics who said he did not have the constitutional authority to make the Louisiana Purchase. Lincoln was well Lincoln. Trans formative. Ronald Reagan revitalized a dispirited nation, supercharged the economy, rebuilt the military, transformed the way we look at government, defeated the Red Threat. Thats trans formative. GW, I would like to hear how you believe that history will view GW. Just interested to hear you make the case. Not being critical. :)

Those who write opinion pieces sometimes forget that opinion is not fact. The unread would surmise that this author had actually done thousands of hours of research and interviews, had each man psycologically tested to the inth degree.

Such is not the fact.

The difference lies in the one main fact that Bush has never God-damned America, and never wallowed for 20 years in the presence of one who does.

Bush has never made it a point to seek out a member of the weather underground who bombed America...moreover, he has fought those who did bomb America.

BHO did do a dumb, dumb thing...he assumed he has the experience and character to become President of the United States. The author of this peice, like most of the liberal media, have picked obamallamadingdong as their "boy", and will write anything, and do anything to see his trip to the mountaintop fullfilled.

The lefty/liberals...who advocate and do steal from Americans everyday of their lives, get their panties in a twist trying to prove that Bush "stole" the election, when plenty of proof exists otherwise. The same ones who wanted to disband the electoral college, cheered it when Obamamamama took hillary.

No...BHO and George Bush are not from the same cloth...Bush is fine linen and Obama is burlap.

So, please, keep your BHO (Butt Headed Opinions) to yourself.

That's quite an admirable effort at defending our illustrious Commander-in-Chief, however I note that you failed to address the actual question, which was:

"Perhaps you could explain the limp and flacid failures of this Administration regarding the other two legs of that ol' Axis of Evil (i.e., Iran and North Korea) these days?"

And for the Daily Double, feel free to address the issue of Agents Ramos and Compean, railroaded into prison by Bush's 'dear [and corrupt] friend', U.S. Persecutor Johnny Sutton?

Take all the time you want.

P.S. - al Qaeda isn't exactly 'defeated' yet, as our airports continue to be bastions of TSA-fascism, and that must be due to the continuing threat of terrorism, al Qaeda and others. You might also note that our President announced just this week that he's sending more troops to Afghanistan, why do you think that might be?

When Reagan was still in office, he was not seen as an historical figure. His stature still grows every day.

GWB’s War on Terror has been a resounding success. America is safer now, and it’s all Bush’s fault.

I didn’t realize that Iran and North Korea were still a major threat, and haven’t been marginalized by GWB’s words alone.

I have no idea who the hell Johnny Sutton is. I guess that the evil Bush did a good job getting all of his media friends to bury the story...

The War on Terror is far from over pal, and someone said years ago that it would span multiple administrations and take perhaps decades to win, guess who said that?

Dubya himself. So don't buy any bags of confetti yet.

I didn't realize that Iran and North Korea were still a major threat

You need to pay attention then, they are far from 'marginalized' and are very definitely a threat, Iran is going gangbusters to get their nuke capability up to speed and North Korea is putting the finishing touches on a new ICBM 'test' launching site, while REassembling their nuke facilities (you know, the ones they were taking apart after all of that Bush/Rice diplomacy?). Google it up and see for yourself.

I have no idea who the hell Johnny Sutton is

Agents Ramos and Compean do. Google them too, and thanks for playing.
