They have now built nearly 400 miles of fence. Considering they only built 70 miles last year, I would say the pace has picked up! Oddly enough, the Mexican newspapers and wire services publish pictures of it all the time, but ours don’t.
I’m sure McCain will be proud of the fence when it becomes convenient but it’s going to take serious sanctions of employers who hire illegals to staunch the flow in a real and meaningfull way.
