Im afraid Shaheen is going to trounce Sununu in NH. Its not looking too good.
“Trounce” him? Yikes!! Don’t the voters remember what a crappy governor she was?
The people of several areas in NH seemed dissatisfied with Sununu. That however is my general impression after doing some polling for McCain.
Thanks for the info. Will same day registration hurt McCain like it did Dubya in 2004 or does he seem to have a good enough lead not to worry about it?
Probably overall. This one is anyone’s guess though. I think we may well be leading in NH - but maybe not by 6 points.
See REALCLEAR POLITICS campaign map!
To all
Before the “Silly(Election) Season” started, there were several states that monkeyed with how their electoral votes were to be awarded.
A) What was the final outcomes of those efforts,
B) Are they in play this election cycle.
The Bradley Effect could be hiding in the so-called undecided categorey. Many of those people might have reached a decision but do not want to disclose it. But then again, who knows if there will be a Bradley Effect.
I do not know the answer to your question. But I believe NH used to be a "Red State" but went to a "Blue State" after many Dems from Mass. migrated to the area.
holy mackeral...if these numbers (PA and NH) are right, this is going to be a 40 state blowout!
“”I think you may have a good point. I live in San Diego, and never miss an election. The 52ed district is a solid red district and I plan to do my part to keep it that way.””
-—>Best thing to do is find a way to travel to or help a state that is battleing for the win. Do you design for cafepress?
“”Most up and down the coast except the OC and San Diego (I am unsure or the furthest most North coastal). But I agree it is wrong that all 55 electoral votes are used and their is not some sort of break up. “”
There was an initiative to break-up the CA electoral votes and the state dems kept it off the agenda calendar to protect their self interest in 2007. This will likely surface agaon. Maine and Alabama are the other two states that split the electoral by district.
Agree 100%. McCain is going to win Indiana by 10 points and North Carolina by 9 points. He is going to win Virginia by 6 to 7 points. To think otherwise is total insanity.
“” Republican brand is NOT POPULAR in the bay area and the coastal areas in general (Orange and San Diego counties being the exception), and no electoral shenanigans will change this.””
Agreed, whacky liberals will never become mainstream or Republican.
However, If the signatures are collected and the choice to split the state electoral vote goes before the voter, ya never know... Demographics of increasing immigrants from developing countries will retire the state of CA to a permanently Democrat run system moving rapidly toward a complete state of Socialism.
It's the first product line I have put on cafepress. I did so after a fellow FReeper suggested I do it. I'm glad they did.
Take a look!
This Hoosier cannot imagine Soetoro being competitive here.
I believe by The Constitution whom ever wins the state get all the electoral votes!
