Obama’s church was “TRINITY UCC”, a different denomination entirely. They are into black liberation theology. Although they probably have more than their fair share of gay guys, I don’t think Rev. Wright was into making that stuff public.

The UCC stands for United Church of Christ.

The “Trinity” is just a local congregational name.

No, Trinity UCC is definitely a United Church of Christ congregation. I believe it is the largest, single congregation in the UCC.
