I think McCain is being proactive and taking away Obama’s biggest weapon.

I could have sworn I saw something here on FR that said that Bill Clinton told Obama to start talking about McCain and immigration in order to divide up the conservative base which would offset the Palin support and enthusiasm.

Does anyone else remember reading that?

Every day I say to myself: Supreme Court nominees, Supreme Court nominees, Supreme Court nominees. Other than that I can think of no reason to vote.

No, but I don't doubt that it's true. Clinton may be lower than a snake's belly, but you have to admit that he's a political mastermind. If he wasn't he would never have been elected to a second term.
