Last I heard about her she was getting kicked off of Air America, wasn’t she?
Ironic that Ms Rhodes included a thinks-she-knows-everything accusation in the middle of other speculative assertions.

There are a lot of radio stations here and there that don't have anything better to put on then a liberal host. Its just that liberal hosts never seem to become popular enough to go national like so many conservative hosts have.
I appreciate the failed attempt Air America represents. Once and for all proving that this failures has to do with the unpopularity of the product rather than some conspiracy to keep liberal voices off the air.

I know. I have had to make that point with my Japanese friends who buy into the liberal garbage. It’s so simple that once I explain it, they are actually embarrassed for bringing up the topic.
If there was a market for a product, the product sells. If thee was a market for liberal talk radio, advertisers would buy advertising and radio stations would carry the program. If there is no advertising bucks, the radio stations stay away.
Everyone on Free Republic (mostly because we all work for a living) get this instinctively.
On April 9, 2008, Air America Radio CEO Charlie Kireker issued a press release stating that Rhodes was leaving the network, in the aftermath of an indefinite suspension following a live appearance at a San Francisco comedy club sponsored by one of her Clear Chanel affiliates, in which she made derogatory references to U.S. Senator and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and former Congresswoman and Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Geraldine Ferraro, specifically calling both “*ucking Whores.”

I wanna see her have to stand beside her husband at one of those mandatory ‘I have sinned against you; I’m a whore’ kind of a press conference. On April 10, 2008, Nova M Radio announced Rhodes would join its radio network, and on April 14, 2008 the Randi Rhodes show returned to the airwaves from her old studios at WJNO (Clear Channel), West Palm Beach.

Randi Rhodes statement on “mugging”/falling down incident
Speaking on her radio show today, Air America Radio’s Randi Rhodes spoke about her supposed mugging. She said she was watching football in an Irish pub and went outside for a smoke. The next thing she knew she was on the ground, having fallen or been pushed into a metal grate. She also said she hadn’t eaten all day, and she’s been to a series of doctors and dentists to fix her injuries and they’ve also been unable to determine a medical reason for the incident. She also says she sent a two sentence email to AAR’s management telling them that she had been mugged; when right-wingers were blamed for the incident she decided not to speak out because she had doctor’s appointments.
Here’s an edited recording of the start of her show. Bear in mind that about five minutes of the beginning was edited out for brevity. In the raw version she complains about the “paparazzi” staking out her building, including one who asked if there was a “secret lift” to Rhode’s apartment.
