My bro in law, a die hard Dem, retired union guy, wil not be voting for Barry.

The reason is he doesn’t trust him.

He mentioned that he wasn’t surprised Michelle Obama wasn’t at the 9/11 memorial service. His words? “She hates America”.

Ballgame.

Bush is clearly unpopular. However, what Obama does not understand is that Bush is unpopular with diffferent segments of the population for differnet reasons. For example, I don't particularly like him because he has been a profligate spender, allowed Ted Kennedy to unduly influence his initial education policies, supported and signed the Medicare prescription drug benefit, and has used his veto power less than any President in living memory. Bush, like his father, believes that more government is a good thing. That makes him "unpopular" with me. Voting for Obama, however, will not solve my problem with George Bush.

And that is the problem with Obama's campaign strategy of Running against W: the only people it really appeals to are people who are already in the tank for Obama. It does not help him with the 20% of the population that will actually decide this election.

Even the sheeple will be leary of anything the MSM says from now on.

Your faith in the American voter is quite touching. Completely off base; but touching.

The fat people in the Wal-Mart parking lot went 50% for Kerry, and Gore. What makes you think they are any smarter now? No, No Mama Z, this is going to be a cliff hanger ... don't relax ... and don't forget to energize YOUR base and get'em to the polls.

A bit of well-placed fraud in the big cities, and boy o boy, we could get Obama.

Become a poll watcher! I have been one for the Republican Party for three election cycles. I have always volunteered to go to the dicey precincts much to the chagrin of my fellow Republican poll watchers.

Why, they ask, do you want to go to those precincts? Because they’re there.

The training is already starting. Please contact the Party in your state and sign up.

Fauxbama has taken his gloves off so many times now, I’m begining to wonder if he has hands at all.

The decision to stick with a mostly-nasty approach should finally end the myth that the Obama campaign is a flawless machine. It had an extraordinarily appealing candidate, a message of change to an unhappy nation and made brilliant tactical decisions that defeated the Clintons.

Hahahahaha, Fauxbama did not make "BRILLIANT" tactical decisions in the primaries... The Hillary campaign in its arrogance made HORRIBLE ones. The mess up in TEXAS was huge, how do you not know their are Caucuses AND primaries? How do you not make sure you get your people to the caucuses where the states have them? etc etc etc.

Yes Fauxbama won, but he lost every major contest that matters in a general election.

If my memory serves I believe NO democratic president has EVER been elected without carrying WV, since it became a state. Fauxbama lost it by 20, in PA a must win state for dems he lost to her by 9... etc etc etc.

This guy and his advisors have never run a hard campaign, the chicago machine made sure he never faced a true campaign, now he's in one, and he's completely over his head. This guys not only not ready for the majors, he's not ready for coed intramurals.

It’s the victim mentality, the lifelong belief that everyone is out to get you, that you must fight to get anything and fight to keep it. There is no gratitude for what they receive, and no graciousness for what they don’t. Instead of “what a blessing I live in such luxury”, it’s “bout d@mn time, now gimmie more”.

Quite. They got 50% - and this empty suit looks a whole lot better.

My take, though: 95% of the voting population already knows which choice they’ll make (be it reasoned or reflexive), so the entire campaign really needs to focus on swaying 2.5%+1 of the truly undecided.
