I incidentally became involved with the world of music and even became one of the leading English song-writers of the 1980s. I took part in three Eurovision contests, released three albums, two maxi-singles and five singles. That was the time when I started establishing contacts with the press. “I had to give a lot of interviews for television and newspapers. I noticed that facts were reinterpreted on numerous occasions, almost always, in order to make an article correspond to ideas of a reporter. One fine day I realized that there was only one way to strive for the truth: to write a true story and to send it to mass media outlets. That’s what I did.”I showed my first articles to a friend, a reporter, who expressed his interest in them and asked my why I did not take up journalism seriously. After that, I finished journalism courses, and worked as a freelance journalist at Portuguese, Spanish, Latin American, English and Romanian media outlets. However, journalism was not my only occupation. “I believe that there is nothing more boring for a journalist than to sit at table, working on the so-called news, which has already been picked out from the Internet by someone, retelling someone else’s stories. In addition to that, it is proof of the absence of professionalism, it is not worth it, in the long run. I like to visit new places, to collect new material for my own articles.”
Here’s a link to info on this fellow, posted on August 24, 2006 by Bookworm...

Ive done just a little digging, by the way, and was able to discover the following about Timothy Bancroft-Hinchey: Hes a permanent member of Pravdas editorial staff although, as his name demonstrates, hes not Russian. In fact, hes a British songwriter with a degree from Leeds (which clearly makes him qualified to write on all matters political). Although the link for his bio is dead, nothing really dies in cyberpsace, and I was able to find that USS Clueless provides extensive quotations from Bancroft-Hincheys defunct biographical site:

NATO is a military organization. What’s military supposed to mean?

San Antonio Express-News (TX) - August 24, 2008
Get thee to a nunnery
“You have lost, Condoleezza Rice. Your ally Saakashvili is responsible for thousands of murders and war crimes. Your military advisors, training and equipment have been proven to be wholly inferior to the Russian Armed Forces. And this, the nearest we ever got to direct conflict, has proven that your forces were utterly thrashed. So if you want to bring it on, you will find Russia saddened but by no means afraid and perfectly ready. As an alternative, get back behind a desk where you belong, you rude, insolent, bad-mannered, man-hating apology for a lady before you get your allies into trouble.”
— TIMOTHY BANCROFT-HINCHEY (Pravda)
Be afwaid, be vewy afwaid!
Hell Yeah!!
Do you know what this means?
Our Hockey Mom rattled Russia!
Now I KNOW she belongs in the White House.
Being slandered by Pravda should be viewed as a badge of honor.
“So far no one in the MSM has indicated a willingness to discuss the homosexual overtones of the “fish” comment, but here it is again, in a different format.”
I’ll discuss it. Anyone who reads a gay male blog knows that “fish” is the keyword for women hating homosexual males.
Way to out yourself there Obama.
> before letting rip in front of incredulous audiences...
I’m with you on that, mate: likely this guy is a Russkie who has “adopted” an English-sounding nom-de-plume, complete with hyphenation “Bankcroft-hyphen-Hinckley”. And he is probably working for Obama. Or at very least cheering for him.
The use of “incredulous” is a dead giveaway that the writer isn’t a native English speaker. His sentence really only makes sense if he’d used “credulous” (naive, gullable) — he stuck an “in” in front because “credulous” isn’t a very common word.
Haven’t seen anyone behave incredulous to Sarah yet!
Timothy BANCROFT-HINCHEY is revealing a little known operational fact here. Apparently, Russian nuclear missiles are capable of traveling at the speed of light. I wonder if our military intelligence agencies know about this?
Timothy BANCROFT-HINCHEY, I laugh you to scorn, you silly tool, you.
With that rant, I was expecting to read “Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries.”
And hey, Larry's not even running for office this year ~ Obama is, and America needs to know how he stands regarding "wide stances" in public toilets.
We do know he's in the market ~ else there'd been no "fish" statement.
Always liked burritos.
I'd remind this nimrod that before WWII, there were a number of countries that had similar treaties with Poland. However, when Poland was invaded by NAZI Germany, nothing was done, i.e. the treaty was ignored. Take a look where that got us. Of course, that wouldn't bother this nimrod, since Stalin's Soviet Union already had their non-aggression pact taken care of with Hitler.
Mark
Then I wonder if he really wrote this? It’s so awkward that it doesn’t seem a native English speaker wrote it. Perhaps a Russian member of the staff wrote it and merely appended Bancroft-Hinchey’s name to it.
One wonders what rot, what worm, exists in the minds of Englishmen and Americans who embrace communism.
