Actually, Timothy Bancroft-Hinchey is a permanent member of Pravda’s editorial staff although, as his name demonstrates, he’s not Russian. In fact, he’s a British songwriter with a degree from Leeds.

Then I wonder if he really wrote this? It’s so awkward that it doesn’t seem a native English speaker wrote it. Perhaps a Russian member of the staff wrote it and merely appended Bancroft-Hinchey’s name to it.
