The typical reaction to a worldview challenge by a person suffering from cognitive dissonance is anger, confusion, and rage. Continued challenge can result in one of four things: (1) continued anger, confusion, and rage at the same level (rare because mental disorders rarely stabilize on their own), (2) increased confusion, anger, and rage leading to violence and other anti-social behavior (common), (3) any number of actual diagnosable mental disorders such as psychosis, (more) delusion, depression, etc. (common), and (4) shattering of the worldview and re-alignment with reality (rare because it is mentally painful).
Watch the moonbats, and you will see a lot of (2) and (3). Seriously, just wade into the nutroots, and those are rampant over there (w/r/t (2), no actual violence yet, but many calls for it if The One loses).
It can be “a hoot” to watch, but be aware that this can quickly become a truly dangerous situation...
Thanks for the insights.
I amend: It’s a hoot to watch the principal players, 0 campaign and MSM disintegrate.
I watch from afar. I never wade into the nutroot neighborhoods, day or night.
Like you, I do think that when (less and less IF) McCain and Palin carry the day Nov. 4, despite the expected irregularities at precincts all across the battleground states, there will be blood.
It’d better be a landslide.
Is that title a reference to the Tate murder by the Manson family?
Still a chilling reference.
Appears to be from some nasty anti-white blog. I notice one of their columnists is “Professor” Marc LaMont Hill, a “black studies” teacher who appears on FOX to give the black racist POV. I also liked how the author’s only reference to Obama’s response for being called on this smear was to quote something Obama said to Olbermann. That’s hardly a believable character witness.
Memo to Obama: Palin uses a gun!
Slaughter the pig? Isn’t that was Islamonazis say to do to the lowly kufir (non-muslims) who they teach are the offspring of pigs and monkeys?
