Unlike Joe Wilson, the guy who was fired by Sarah didn’t seem too keen to cry for an investigation. Now we know why. In an effort to destroy Sarah, something about him that he’s not proud of is now national news. I almost feel bad for him. He never asked for the investigation, but is caught by the destructive hurricane unleashed by the Democrats.

Two other things. First, didn’t she also offer him a different job and as Governor, didn’t she have the right to fire his ass for any reason she saw fit?

In KOS (liberal) land, facts don’t matter :)

Someone posted and alternative view of “troopergate” and the poor putz got smeared.

The libs are in full denial.

Actually Palin did NOT fire Monegan. She offered him a lateral transfer to head of the Alaska ABC. He refused and RESIGNED.

This story is going nowhere.

That would seem to be the deal killer for Troopergate. Do you have a reference for this?

Not to butt in, but yes, the Anchorage Daily Rag...er News. On the day they broke the (non)story.

In October 1994, Monegan's estranged wife, who had moved from Alaska to the Peninsula with the couple's two daughters after more than 10 years of marriage, sought a temporary restraining order against him - accusing Monegan of threatening to kill her, waving a gun at her and dislocating her shoulder, according to her declaration on file in Santa Clara County Superior Court. In an interview last week, Georgene Moldovan said Monegan had threatened several times to throw her body in an Alaska river.

This is a keeper.

Well well well. The guy who would not fire the trooper (that threatened to kill Palins father)[ and tazered his 10 year old step-son], is accused of trying to kill his wife.

Yep - Sarah is obviously the bad guy here

Gov. Palin told Charlie she offered this guy another good job (I can't remember which one) but he turned it down.

“using a Taser on his 10-year-old stepson (which Wooten admits)”

How can anyone not see that this is child abuse? People of authority have a resposibility to report something like this, it is required by law. Funny these libs get all up in arms about tasers being used to subdue adult criminals but don’t have a problem with the same being done to a child?! I’m sure I’ve seen recent hit pieces critcizing taser use and how dangerous it is to perps but I don’t remember the source, does anyone else remember seeing this?

McCain and Sarah need to get this whole thing out in the open through an ad or press conference.

Send the McCain campaign the link for this article with your recommendations. I don't have the skillset to figure out how to send links via e-mail, or I'd do it.
