Iraq has motive to discredit Obama as they need McCain to win in order to not be “left” twisting in the wind as they will be if the democrats win. There is motive here and look at the source, this is very flimsy ...

While I agree to the sentiment this the Iraqi Foreign Minister (IFM) saying this. Thus it puts Obama in a tricky spot. If he says this is all bunk and posturing he is essentially saying the IFM is lieing. If the IFM0 is lieing then the question is why would he except for the fact that he believes he has a better partner in McCain (Duh!). Of course if Obama knows there are ways to prove that what the IFM's statement is true then he must admit as much but would have to extend the logic of the Bush Administration in disarray. Either way this is yet another big hump for Obama and should drive the netroots nuts.

PS: Was this meeting "on the books" or is that even in dispute? Maybe I missed that in the article.
