Sarah Palin had a good laugh watching Tina Fey impersonate her on this weekend's Saturday Night Live season premiere.
Look back at how SNL has spoofed politicians over the years. Palin was on her campaign plane at the time, watching it behind a curtain.
She thought it was quite funny, particularly because she once dressed up as Tina Fey for Halloween, her spokesperson Tracey Schmitt told CBS News.
In the clip -- which also starred Amy Poehler as Hillary Clinton -- the two pleaded for an end to sexism in the presidential campaigns.
Fey presented Palin as being less experienced than Clinton. As Poehler's Clinton bragged about her foreign policy experience, Fey's Alaskan governor exclaimed: "I can see Russia from my house!" When Poehler said she disagreed with the Bush Doctrine, Fey's Palin whispered, "I don't know what that is" - a reference to Palin's confusion on the subject in an ABC News interview last week.

Palin actually had a good laugh thinking about the fact that Tina Fey’s show got cancelled.

I saw the skit and there was huge similiarities, but in that picture, Governor Palin is way better looking.

We have not watched SNL for many, many years. Their skits have little humor.

It's stale and no longer avant garde; it's one dimensional.

The skit was well done. The rest of the show was like a series of summer camp skits. .

It's stale and no longer avant garde; it's one dimensional. Yep. Oh they may come by with a skit here or there but then they will milk it unmercifully, stretching it out for 10 weeks and then make a horrible 83 minute movie about it.
Expect them to milk the Palin impersonations forever, especially if McCain wins.
It will be painfully stupid and moronic.

Me too! Did you notice the original source for this piece?

We have not watched SNL for many, many years. I haven't either. But check the YouTube of the skit. It's quite funny, and makes it clear that Gov. Palin is appealing and Hillary is a crazy harpy.
To: God luvs America
Exactly - she should act oblivious to the fact that Fey got in numerous digs and just admit it was funny - should drive the libs at SNL crazy(ier)!

...a reference to Palin's confusion on the subject in an ABC News interview last week. That's a lie. Charlie Gibson is the one who was confused.
US Weekly is garbage. Why is their stuff still being posted here?
