They do help...
for local candidates who need name ID.

with 100% name ID and people making up their minds, I dont think the Presidential signs do more than boost morale.

OTOH it was great to see the McCain/Palin signs in my neighborhood. It helps morale and helps to know there are others out there of the same mind.

Sure yard signs help! When we look for real estate yard signs always help. Kerry yard signs? Obama yard signs? That means the neighborhood is probably either in decline or headed that way, so I know to stay away. Works like a charm.

I think yard signs and bumper stickers will help McCain, particularly in this election. Here’s why...

With a yard sign or a bumper sticker, you are trying to reach the voter who has not been paying attention at all, and knows very little about either candidate. Now, try to put yourself between this voter’s ears. What he has heard is that Obama/Biden is hopey/changey and McCain/Palin is warmongers, old and vaguely racist.

If that is his impression of the tickets, then he would expect to see Obama signs all over the place, but if he sees a lot of McCain signs, it either means that there are an awful lot of racist warmongers around, or maybe McCain isn’t that bad, after all. If people see you, all around reasonable and nice guy, with a McCain sign planted in the front lawn, they will have to conclude that McCain must be an all around reasonable and nice guy, too.

In other words, since Obama’s image amongst people who are not paying attention at all is fairly positive, signs will not help that much, because they are telling the voter what he already “knows”, even if it’s wrong. McCain signs, on the other hand, will directly contradict the message that the Donks have been putting out about the McCain ticket since last year.

The way to combat PC pressure is to let people know that it is OK to vote against Barack Obama, and that a lot of their friends are voting against Barack Obama. The best way to do this is with a yard sign.

Anyway, that’s the way I see it.

Bumper stickers and yard signs absolutely help on all levels. They are the tools of grassroots GOTV efforts and that is why the Dims are always out stealing and trashing yard signs . It’s the ground level propaganda war and the Dims usually win it . Both Bush campaigns ‘00 & ‘04 had a great sign and sticker program that was utilized extremely effectively .

To put it in perspective : If the sheeple masses (not party faithful) see only signs for one candidate , they assume that there is little , if any , support for the other candidate . They like to support who they think will be a winner .

Another benefit of stickers and signs is that they demoralize the enemy (in this case the Dims) as they are of the delusion that everybody wants to vote Dim. I’ve actually seen it work myself when I look in my rear view mirror - i’m stickered up pretty good .

I will also venture to say that demoralization through propaganda might discourage some Dims , so much so , that they will tap into there defeatist attitude and just not vote . This is no exaggeration , as we all know how weird some Dims are come election time .

You must protect your signs , and you can magnetize your bumper stickers if you fear vandalism to your vehicle . I buy scrap sign magnet material from a local sign shop , stick my stickers to it , cut around the edges and finish it off with the right colored marker so nobody knows it’s magnetized .It works well .

I’m passionate about this and can’t stress enough how important stickers and signs are in the grassroots propaganda war . It truly does make a difference .

WHICH SHIRT SHOULD I WEAR?

I need help deciding which shirt to wear at the Western Washington Fair (Puyallup Fair) later this week. It is one of the largest State Fairs in the nation and has a good mix of conservatives and liberals. I have heard that the McCain Palin booth has been packed, and everyone is asking for buttons or stickers, and they have run out the demand has been so high. Those walking around the fair with McCain/Palin buttons are being asked, “where did you get that?”. The Obama booth is largely vacant. And this Fair is only about 33 miles from loony left Seattle.

Shirt #1

"Does planting a McCain-Palin Yard Sign and applying a McCain-Palin Bumper Sticker help the cause "

Some people vote for whom they think will be the winner.

One neighborhood I drove through last week, is known as predominately Democrat. Earlier this month there was one Obama sign. Monday of last week, there were a few McCain signs.
On Friday I had to laugh out loud when I saw that almost every house on the street now has a McCain sign up. The Obama sign was replaced as well...a McCain sign now stands in it place.
So do yard signs work? Maybe just maybe they do.

Family and I went to the farmer’s market yesterday, one of the vendors had an Obama sticker on her car. I sampled her stuff and then told her I wasn’t going to buy anything because of her Obama bumper sticker. Look on her face was priceless!

Bumper Stickers can SAVE LIVES !

Here’s how, if you see a Kerry Bumper Sticker on a car, especially now after the guy became a proven loser, AVOID that car on the road.

Pass the car, accelerate away, and definately DON’T PARK NEXT TO IT, as these folks are brain dead, inconsiderate, unable and incapable of rational thought.

If you see an OBAMA 08 sticker be ALERT. Remember Obama and the MRS. are known associates and friends of ADMITTED TERRORISTS.

He partners with FELONS and STEALS from the rich to redistribute to the poor. PROTECT yourselves out there folks and sometimes the “enemy” is gracious enough to self-identify by using bumper stickers.

Well, shirt #2 has more verbiage and you can watch peoples’ faces while they read it.
However, for maximam moonbat PDS reaction, I’d go for shirt #1. Many moonbats can’t read, and the picture itself is recognizable from further away.

You can get a pack of 50 of these for $7.00 from the official McCain store.

Keep a roll in your car and hand them out to everyone. Although they are lapel stickers, they are large enough and good enough quality to work on a back window of a car.

My sister-in-law is a Dem...she was in a cooking competition and wore a "1/20/09" Dump Bush-type T-Shirt to the contest.

I asked her "Why would you go out of your way to pi$$ off half of the judges in the competition? Bad Move." She lost, I haven't seen the shirt since.

She's a great cook, though....experiments on me all of the time. I'm a willing guinea pig.

I’m running a local campaign right now, and we’ve got a boatload of yard signs out there. Nobody votes because they see a sign, but plenty of people vote based on name recognition, especially on downticket races. Yard signs are a significant help with name recognition; far better than a website. Nobody will find your website if they don’t already know your name.

My big, expensive, gas-guzzling SUV was keyed within 48 hours of application of my Nobama No socialism sticker. I took the sticker off.

I have seen on this site, a good idea. Put up a sign in the back window while you are out driving... then pull the sign off the back window when you park... =)
