Yeah, I was under the impression the higher the population density the more crime you had as well as the general health problems associated with it. ie Stress, etc.
Arizona has 56/sq.mi. population density. Makes it nice.
Not necessarily. Some cities have extremely high population density and very low crime, Singapore for example. I think that corruption is probably the real determinant when it comes to crime. Societies that tolerate corruption nearly always have high crime rates and the more corrupt the society the worse the crime.
