Fiorina: Obama Camp ‘Deceitful’ in Clipping My Quote
Foxnew.com ^ | September 16, 2008 | staff

Barack Obama’s campaign was “deceitful” when it clipped part of an interview in which Republican Victory 2008 Chairwoman Carly Fiorina said John McCain was not qualified to be the head of a corporation, Fiorina said Tuesday. Earlier in the day, Fiorina, the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard, appeared on MSNBC, where she said none of the candidates is qualified to run a major corporation, but that should not prevent them from running the country. “I don’t think John McCain could run a major corporation. I don’t think Barack Obama could run a major corporation. I don’t think Joe Biden could run a major corporation. But on the other hand a major corporation is not the same as being the president or vice president of the United States,”

What we know for sure is that Carly Fiorina can’t run a major corporation (except into the ground).

Two things to learn from this:
1. Loose lips sink ships, and
2. Well of course they’ll (MSM, i.e. Democrats) will distort words.

Hey Carly! Put some ice on it.

How does it feel now that it's your turn in the barrel.

What a really, really dumb thing to say — even “in context”. ...and she got to be Republican Victory Chairwoman 2008 how? I'm beginning to understand her departure from Hewlett-Packard — Oye!

Yes, she forgot to say that she can’t run a major corporation either, and that McCain was an idiot to appoint her as his economic adviser.

Elementary common sense never give the press a quote that they can “clip” and run with. OF COURSE they clipped her stupid quote and ran with it. What else did she expect? Fairness?

After all, she DID say it, and the leftist press could even plausibly argue that the accusation that Obama and Biden couldn’t run a corporation is partisan and therefore not newsworthy (dog bites man), but that for a member of McCain’s own top staff to say that he couldn’t run a corporation is a pretty startling admission, and therefore newsworthy (man bites dog, or rather, stupid woman bites boss).

this is very odd....and sad....I too had been reluctant about her and her HP history

but I was listening to NPR yesterday (yes..I suck I know) but anyhow I do like to hear how th enemy is hurting and I heard the one conservative who was a woman doing a great job explaining and defending McCain and Bush’s reasoning both on Iraq and refusing to bail out Lehman like they (Lehman)wanted

didn’t know who it was till they said so and it was Fiorina...I was impressed...sorry to hear she stepped off the reservation

is McCain qualified to run a corporation all hyperbole aside....probably....Cheney did fine with Halliburton, Schultz with Bechtel...and both of those are huge cumbersome by nature concerns

If Team McCain is smart (are you listening Mr. Schmidt?), they will exploit this as a concrete example of media bias.

The networks were obviously fed the clip by the Obama camp and it needs to be brought to their attention that they are using a deceptive clip out of context.

If they refuse to cease using it, HAMMER THEIR ASSES!

If BJ tapped it that mean there is no quality there. Which I guess would be a pretty good test when you think about it...as to what to stay away from.

When you take on a position in a campaign like Fiorina has here, you have to put the candidate’s needs ahead of your ego. Apparently Carly can’t do that.

Not only is the Obama campaign deceitful, but their friends in the news media are deceitful.

Hey, Carly, why don’t you make a 527 ad showing the whole quote and then call Barack Obama “a deceitful pig without lipstick”?
