Bad Cupcakes
Two seventeen year old students in Metairie (LA) were busted for a prank gone wrong.
On August 29th the two high school seniors allegedly dropped off a pan of laxative-laced cupcakes in the teachers lounge.
The school principal removed the contaminated treat before any teacher could sample it.
Both students were booked with mingling harmful substances, punishable by up to two years in prison and a maximum fine of $1,000. Both are fighting the criminal charges and their expulsion.
What are the harmful substances? Laxative and chocolate? I think that’s only one harmful substance.
I agree that schools need to maintain order (for the sake of stupid and/or violent children). But having been out of high school for long enough to realize how pointless it is, I don’t care what these merry pranksters did.

Threats of expulsion? Time in gaol? Is the world going mad?
Simple answer. Make the students EAT said cupcakes. End of problem.
Childish pranks now warrant a year in prison and $1000? I remember when children were allowed to be children. In my day, the principal exercised the old paddle and insisted on a public apology in the next assembly.
Paging Major Payne...
Take them out to the far end of the schoolyard, make them EAT said cupcakes and lecture them on why what they did was wrong. About the time their eyes start to bulge, advise them that if they pucker up really hard and run while simultaneously pressing their buttcheeks firmly together, they might make it to the restrooms 200 yards away.
There was a similar story in my local area recently, except it was a police station the teen had brought goodies to. Turns out, the goodies were fine, and I don’t think the kid got an apology for how he was treated by the cops either.
Hope they test these cupcakes before they arrest the kids.
Trip to woodshed works better
should be punished and expelled.
Another student told the teachers not to eat the cupcakes because they had been poisoned.
