I'm not sure how this could be. It often takes no more than 10 seconds to click on a poll link, vote, then return to FR.
I look on it as not allowing leftists the sole voice on the internet -- and just possibly discouraging a few or painting a different picture for the MSM, as leftists tend to think the whole world adores Obama. You can sense their shock when even online polls don't turn out as they "should" or when conservatives make pro-McCain/Palin comments (how dare they!). I just don't see how Freeping a poll could possibly do anything but help.

Not to perpetuate stereotypes...having 'mom' as my handle, but I am no techie...BUT...
I never 'FReep' any polls (leaving FR and hitting a link to leftie site). The reason, when we come right back here, can't we bring cookies with us? Even w/firewalls, isn't that a bad idea? If someone could 'splain it to me...but that was my very rudimentary understanding...don't go to lets say DU from 'here' because you don't know what you might bring back.
Thanks in advance to any techie type who can explain this.
