If you are going to be frightened away by guttersnipe attacks, then either the guttersnipe is much more formidable than first imagined, or there is an excess of timidity being displayed. Neither of these postulates would seem to apply.
“Nastiness” has just started. Palin Derangement Syndrome is merely transferred from Bush II, and from Dan Quayle before that.
Since I wasn't interested in politics back then, all I remember is the jokes.
