Simple! Bill Ayers is the Obama caretaker behind the scenes. He is the Wizard behind the curtain. It's all part of his revolutionary plan from his SDS days, but instead of blowing up the capital, he is going to implement radical socialism through his protoge Obama.

I kind of was sucked into reading this thread - No good ideas - but when I read this post of yours, I was taken aback, and had to think a while - for about an hour, in fact.
Now that I have, I must say that I am forced to agree with you. Although I’ve always had the personal opinion that I would vote for a Keyes(I supported his run)/ Steele/ JCWatts - this crystallizes something for me, I’m afraid to say:
Until the day comes that the vast majority of black (and white) Americans can look past the color of the skin when they are choosing who to vote for, and the policies that are “right” for America, I may not be able to vote for someone who is black for national office due to the pressure that you quite rightly point out will be put on them solely due to their race.
I believe that America HAS reached that stage with respect to M/F now and that the sniping at Palin is not related to her sex, but is due to ideology. Unfortunately, that is not true about Obama. Partially in evidence, I believe there are thousands of white “community organizers” with equivalent experience and degrees who have not been able to get near a seat in the IL senate or the US Congress - and that the only reason Obama is the Dem nominee is racially based.

Post #63 is true, too. Mull that over a while. Your post, while accurate, demands a response that is quite different from just rolling over or saying “we’re being set up”. America must demand that until race plays no part in elections, that we will not vote for someone identified in any way by race. Since the Dems are now playing this card, that very fact must be resisted by voters as rendering their candidate illegitimate.
He is no longer a serious candidate by virtue of race having being mentioned, and it would now be most proper for them to completely withdraw his candidacy.
I’m not crazy about battling their other candidate, but it is only right. If they had kept this as a battle of ideas and policies, it would have been fine. That being no longer the case, he should be laughed off the national stage.
My wife doesn’t want 0bama to win because of his race, and she’s open about it. She tells me that she works with many other people that feel the same way, and quite a few of them are democrats.
I dislike 0bama because he is a liberal. I would have no problem at all voting for a black candidate that is a true conservative.
The media is preparing the nation, once again, for a chorus of month-long calls for a "stolen" or "unfair" election. Dems prepare for the legal protest, or trial by media, long before the actual election.
If Obama only loses by a couple of points they will repeat a newer version of "selected not elected" and will spend four years from 2008 until 2012 referring to Obama as the POTUS and getting him warm meetings from his many friends in the capitals of Europe, trying to de-legitimize the McCain Presidency.
The Democrats have forgotten what we boys all learned on the playground: that losing graciously is the way honorable men respond, and that screaming "no fair" or "you cheated" or "the umps were blind" or "the rules aren't fair" was only the province of the immature, the spoiled, and the selfish.
Of course, I understand the Dems trying. Because the real problem is the media -- they should call them for what they are. Instead, the MSM provides them a soapbox for their whining.

Isn't it getting a bit worn out? We all work with a bunch of different people. In the military I worked with a bunch of different people. And I live around bunch of different people. I know where there is real deadly racism going on in L.A. I know a few cops. Mexican gangs are shooting black people just because they are black. It's not reported that there are places 25 miles south of here that cops won't cruise through. Who's running the show here?
2 weeks ago the Mexican drug cartels gave the OK to assasinate U.S. citizens. Who's running the show there on the border?
The time will come when black and white citizens will join together to burn down these places. Fully armed. And it won't be like Newark, N.J. It will look like Chechnya after the Russians got done. And they didn't clean it up afterward.
The racists (black, white, latino and “other”) have one thing that works against them....they all hate each other. There’s no strength in that. If the pot ever boils over (so to speak), it’s not going to be black against white as most think. It’s going to simply be racist vs non-racist.

This is only a “statistical” possibility, when you consider the number of blacks registered and voting as Dims, vs the number of blacks registering and voting as GOPers.
When you look at the voting of blacks in the GOP, you find their votes spread among many candidates.
In the Dim’s primaries, the “black” vote was almost always heavily in Obama’s corner, not evenly split between Obama and Hillary. Blacks among Dims were voting more on “race” than were whites and others among Dims.
The same will be true in the general election.
If many white Dims, independents and moderates move to the McCain column, it will be because, unlike MOST black Democrats, they are willing to vote for the candidate and not their race.
There is one thing you should remember. We are the same race +/- a gene or two. Any man can get a woman pregnant from anywhere. We are dealing with ethnic groups. And they sort of like living around each other. There are times and places when things are going bad. It doesn't matter what ethnic group. Bad things will happen. When gangs happen, it's called racism. That's wrong, and they should be defeated.
When one ethnic group allows themselves to get out of normalcy, another ethnic group will say "what do you think your are doing?" A positive question. A logical question.
And where the hell are the leaders to guide this along? Jesus better get his rear end back down here fast to tell us what to do! It's written in the bible. We need an update.
