These musings were not written by intelligent human beings. These were written by self-absorbed spoiled kids who certainly failed to appreciate the sacrifices of their parents and their parent’s parents.
I seriously doubt that THEIR parents made any sacrifices. We’re taking now about children of the late baby boom who are addicted to immediate gratification, warm fuzzies and a never-ending search for “self”.
Their children have learned what they were taught.
