Nah, ask any forensic computer expert.

Anything can be recovered because nothing’s ever “really” deleted.

I am a simple end user and I have seen commercial software for sale that will find & restore deleted information.

Depends, taking out the HD and using fine grain sand paper on the HD disk does erase things...

If I committed a high profile felony with a computer and had a week to dispose of that evidence, your computer forensics expert would not find any physical evidence of said computer ever existing.

Now, add to the mix that I am a pampered kid of a dem politician? Nope, I don’t own a computer. I might have at one time (a week ago) but it’s gone. I would have taken it to a friend in the university metal shop, melted it down and it would now be a piece of abstract art in the corner.
