slightly off topic:

back in college i had to take a "human sexuality" class. after about twenty minutes listening to the professor lecture us about the evils of "female genital mutilation," (which is disgusting), i stood up and asked the class how many women had been mutilated. none raised their hands. (if they were, i can understand their hesitance to respond). i then asked how many guys in the class had been Circumcised. the conversation rapidly shifted to another topic.
