There was a post today that the Sun finally had a spot. It was a big deal to the folks that follow that. The talk is that maybe the Sun will get more spotty. Fine with me—it's freakin’ cold up here!

Sunspots help shortwave? I’m not up on that tech. All I know is that sunspot activity raises cain with some comms, like sats.

Yeah The solar wind Ionizes the upper atmosphere and that lets radio waves bounce off it. Otherwise they just bounce out into space.
Something like that. Im just learning

Astroturfing? Yeah, it all makes sense now. So, we are fully justified in trusting the ZerØbots about as far as we can throw a fit. Like we needed the confirmation, but the info is interesting, nonetheless.
