The chief executive of a company in Greater Noida, just outside Delhi, was on Monday beaten to death by a group of dismissed employees inside the office premises after a meeting called to resolve dispute between them and the management failed.
L K Chaudhury, the CEO and managing director of Italian electronics company Gradiano, in Udyog Vihar, Greater Noida, was beaten to death by the agitating workers, senior superintendent of police (Noida) R K Chaturvedi said.
Chaudhury was rushed to Kailash hospital where he was declared brought dead. About 34 people, all from the company's management, were injured in the clash, he said.
There were about 200 former employees inside the premises when the incident took place. They were dismissed two months ago for some reasons and were since then protesting against it.
There were about 25 guards at the company but they were unable to control the rioting workers.
Gradiano, a large Italian multinational employs nearly 600 employees in its Delhi facility.
Just kidding but maybe this should catch on here
damn, those Wall St. tycoons had better be careful which company they run into the ground..... /SARCASM
Needs to be done more often IMHO.
At least a wedgey or whirley and save beating to death for senators and lawyers.
Calm down now Alec
You worthless waste of skin!
This is shameful. Where is the law enforcement when sh*t like this happens? In this case, the CEO may/not have been a despicable SOB but nothing, nothing can justify the pain that something like this causes his family.
Don’t let Richard Trumka or Michael Moore see this.

Should have been tried a while back, naybe we wouldn’t be where we are today if that had been the case :-).
There are worse things than death.
Problem resolved; everybody wins.
Prayers.
Haven't the employees heard of a suggestion box?

Weren’t these workers fired for fighting? The CEO invites them to a meeting to rehire them. They beat him to death. A CEO with such bad judgment(to rehire these thugs) was bound to run his company into the ground though.
Disgusting.
There have been 203 deaths in the USA from union violence since 1975.
That is 203 families shattered. All because someone didn't like the size of their paycheck.
In this case he died because he refused to hire back 15 union thugs who were fired for "grave indiscipline and misconduct".
I hope they hang every damn one of the murdering SOBs.
