The McCain campaign was not too happy when Hillary Clinton pulled out of a rally next week protesting Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Clinton pulled out when she found out the Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin would also be there, lending a political air to the event. After that, organizers disinvited Palin.
Palin expressed her disappointment today at a rally in Blaine, Minn.but she was careful to serve up another helping of praise for Clinton, whose supporters she is courting.
I was scheduled to appear at a rally with Sen. Clinton, whose commitment to this I appreciate, she said. It should be an issue that unites all Americans. Unfortunately, though, some Democrat partisans put politics first, and now no elected official will be able to appear at that `Stop Iran rally.

Smart move to not blame Sen Clinton and blame the partisan Dems. Bill will like her even more now! :)
