To: Who is John Galt?
Last cycle I got one of those. When the slanted questions arrived and I realized what it was I started chuckling and said, this is a push poll isn't it? I answered questions contrary to the script and kept asking her, c’mon, admit it, this is a push poll. By the time she gave up she was trying to stifle a chuckle herself.

These type of polls are typically from out-of-state so their actions and expenses are beyond the scope of state laws on reporting political contributions.

I usually say put me back on the no call list. After a while they stop calling. Sometimes I tell them that I am still waiting for John Kerry's military records or something. Democrats leave me alone mostly.

I got push polled once. When I answered affirmative to an incredibly leading question there was dead silence, then a “did you understand the question?” Then, when they got around to asking for money for their cause I said “Sure, put me down for a dollar.”
