IRVINE - A 10-year-old girl kicked a man in the groin and ran away after he offered her candy to take off some of her clothes, authorities said. Police are searching for the man who escaped in a battered green Jeep Wrangler.
The girl was walking near Bryan Avenue and Marketplace about 3 p.m. Tuesday when the man came up to her and asked her to remove her clothing, said Lt. Rick Handfield of the Irvine Police Department. When the man reached for the girl, she kicked him in the groin and ran, Handfield said.
The man fell to the ground, Handfield said.
Detectives are hoping a sketch of the man will help identify and find him.

Hopefully there’s never a next time for her, but if there is I hope she gets in a few extra well placed kicks after the scumbag hits the ground. Maybe even jump up and down on his face with both feet for a while. (I know, it’s probably safer for her to run once he’s down, but a guy can dream, can’t he?)

I’m happy this young lady got away clean. My youngest is only recently turned 11. On the other hand, I admit my first reaction was “needs more range time.”
Talk about inappropriate responses. Mine, not hers.

Yes, one of Sara Palin’s “soccer kids”. Wait till you see the kid’s “soccer mom” - probably armed to the teeth and hunting the scum.

Oooh, a black eye and busted nose would have made him totally identifiable. Something to keep in mind!

GOOD for her!!!!! She did VERY well.
Unfortunately.....thg dork looks like too many in this area. I hope they catch him... Yeah, I am just blown away that not only did she drop him, she (or perhaps someone else nearby) got a great description. I'm surprised that he's not been picked up yet. Or are there really that many close matches in the area?
If you hear anything, will you please give an update? I'd love to see the scumbag held out for further humiliation. Somebody in his circle knows, or at least would have suspicions, if only the story reaches their ears.
